The daily digest email
One email with your child's day in it: what goes in, when it's sent, and sending one yourself.
Finding the setting
Go to More → Settings and tap the Digest tab. Settings has four tabs: Account, Notifications, Digest and About.
The digest belongs to your account, not your family. Each parent or guardian with their own login chooses their own, and changing yours doesn't change anyone else's. Every change saves as you make it.
Turning it on or off
Send daily digest is the master switch: One email per day with everything that happened. Everything below it only matters while it's on.
Choosing a send time
Under Send time, tap an hour: 7am, 12pm, or any hour from 4pm to 9pm. Until you pick one, the highlighted hour is your center's own send time, the hour it sends daily reports. If your center's hour isn't one of the choices, nothing is highlighted until you choose.
The hour is on your center's clock, not your phone's. That only matters if you live or travel across a time zone line from your center, but then it matters every day.
An evening hour is the sensible choice. The digest is built from the day's reports, and a 12pm email can only include the morning.
What goes in it
Under Include, switch Meals, Naps, Activities and Photos on or off. Each child gets their own section, taken from that day's daily report, with up to six photos. A child with nothing recorded that day shows No updates today.
The digest is a summary of the daily report, not a replacement for it. Messages, and anything added to the report after the digest goes out, are in the app. See Your child's day and photos.
Sending one now
Tap Send today's digest now. When it works, RoundUp says Digest sent — check your inbox. It won't send if Send daily digest is off (the app tells you the digest is disabled), or if your account has no children linked yet (No children linked yet).
At the bottom of the tab, Sending to shows the email address it goes to. That's your account's email and can't be changed here. To use a different address, ask your center to update it; see Updating your phone number or address.
Scheduled sending
The automatic daily email isn't running yet, so for now a digest only arrives when you tap Send today's digest now. Your send time and choices are saved, and will be used once it is.
If it doesn't arrive
- Check spam or junk The subject starts Daily Digest.
- Check the sender It comes from RoundUp rather than from your center's name, so search for both.
- Check the address Look at Sending to at the bottom of the Digest tab. If it's an old address, your center can change it.
- Tell us If all of that looks right, email support@roundupece.com with the address and the day you expected it.
The email's footer says the settings are under Profile. They're under More → Settings → Digest. For alerts on your phone rather than email, see Turning notifications on or off.
