Connect Rippling
Where Rippling sign-in stands, and what to use in the meantime.
Where things stand
Signing in to RoundUp with Rippling isn't available yet. There's no way to connect it from the app, and staff won't see a Sign in with Rippling button.
If your staff already have accounts with another identity provider, you can connect that instead: see Connect Okta, Connect Auth0, Connect JumpCloud, or Single sign-on with Microsoft Entra ID or OpenID Connect. Otherwise staff sign in with the password they set when they accepted their invitation.
The Rippling tile in Marketplace
Marketplace has a Rippling tile. It's a separate connection that doesn't set up sign-in, so connecting it won't change how anyone signs in to RoundUp.
Signing in through a provider today
Whichever provider your center connects, the same rules apply:
- Accounts still come from invitations. Signing in never creates an account. Someone who hasn't accepted an invitation to your center is refused and told to ask their director.
- Email addresses must match. The address in the provider has to be the one their RoundUp invitation went to.
- Passwords stop working for staff. Once a provider is connected, every staff member — directors included — signs in through it, and a password is refused. Families keep signing in with their passwords.
Because of that last rule, test the connection with one account before you tell staff, and keep the provider's credentials current: a connection that stops working locks every staff member out, not just one.

Troubleshooting
We connected Rippling in Marketplace and staff still see a password field
That's expected. The Marketplace tile isn't a sign-in connection.
Someone says the sign-in screen told them to ask their director
They haven't accepted an invitation to your center under the email address the provider gave RoundUp. Check the address you invited against the one in your provider, character by character, before looking anywhere else.
